A big time women’s featherweight matchup is heading to the Windy City as Holly Holm will welcome Megan Anderson to the UFC Octagon.
The women’s featherweight division may have it’s first non-title fight as former bantamweight champion Holly Holm is rumoured to face UFC debutant Megan Anderson. Phil Thompson of the Chicago Tribune first reported the matchup on Wednesday. UFC officials are yet to confirm the fight which will take place at UFC 225 in Chicago on June 9th.

According to a report from the Chicago Tribune, former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, and two-time women’s featherweight title challenger, Holly Holm will take on former Invicta FC featherweight champion Megan Anderson. The event will take place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on June 9. It will be the first non-title women’s featherweight fight in UFC history.
